    Dave leads a team of experts in acquiring and managing residential and commercial properties that benefit residents, investors, and the planet.

    Dave grew up in North Yarmouth, Maine before attending Carleton College. His Latin American Studies major took him to Bolivia where he co-founded The Spitting Llama Bookstore and Outfitter—a chain of retail stores. Dave has written three books: Youth Renewing the Countryside, Coffee Smuggler, and Cyber Fire. After earning his MBA at the University of Maine, Portland, he worked as Outreach and Communications Coordinator for Safe Passage and then as Assistant Director of Annual Giving for Bowdoin College. Dave has been a real estate investor since 2011 and is a broker for Remax Riverside specializing in commercial and investment property. He co-owns hundreds of Maine rental units and enjoys working with owners, residents and contractors to solve problems and improve communities. Dave has served on the board of the Ecology School in Saco and his local Budget Committee and Parks & Rec committee.

    Kacy arrived in Brunswick as a student at Bowdoin College in the 1990’s. She studied biology and environmental studies, explored Maine with the Outing Club, and spent her summers working at a camp on Sebago Lake.

    Following her passion for teaching and the outdoors, she worked for the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS) in Lander, Wyoming and on Mexico’s Baja Peninsula for nearly a decade before returning to Maine in 2007. Kacy joined Bowdoin’s division of development and alumni relations in January 2008 where she developed relationships and raised funds for the College until February 2022 when she began her sales agent training. She’s the mother of two kids, an avid tennis player, a knitter, and a recent cultivator of dahlias.

    Kacy is eager to help others with their return to Maine, relocation within the area, or investment in our communities through investment properties. She is also a member of the Katahdin Property Management team.

    Tim and his family moved to Midcoast Maine in 1985 to become part of the acclaimed Bowdoin College Athletic Department. He quickly fell in love with Maine’s magnificent landscapes and never wanted to leave. It is that affection for the area and the skills that he refined as a coach that make him an excellent REALTOR®.

    Tim is originally from North Haven, Connecticut. He graduated from Providence College where he pursued his love of sports. Maine became home when he moved to Topsham to start his career as a coach at Bowdoin. He and his wife still live in the same house where they raised their three children, all of whom graduated from Mt Ararat High School. Go eagles!

    Tim served as the Bowdoin men’s soccer coach for 15 years and as the men’s basketball coach for 35 years, holding the record as the most successful coach in the history of the men’s basketball program. Tim also served as an assistant athletic director creating and serving as facilitator of the COACHES ROUND TABLE, a mentoring and idea exchange opportunity for all coaches. It is his understanding of people and desire to help them achieve their goals that led to his success in coaching and now in his role with RE/MAX Riverside’s Holman Group.

Residential purchases for example can be a buyer’s only nest egg, and when people trust us to guide them towards the best decision possible, that’s when great things happen. We approach clients with a mindset of curiosity to fully understand their needs, and guide them to make smart decisions that will build a foundation for their future.

  • There are a lot of differences between the expertise required for residential vs commercial real estate, but also a lot of similarities. The intersection of these two niches is where some magic begins to happen. On our team, for example, Kacy has a strong background in commercial and she is a wealth of knowledge. Leslie has been serving residential clients for close to three decades, and there is nothing she can’t figure out. Dave has significant experience in both arenas. What’s cool is that, often times, we’ll be guiding a buyer through finding their perfect first home, and they’ll make a small commercial real estate investment in the process that interests them too. We’ve had new buyers get their feet wet into commercial investing, and it becomes a stepping stone for bigger things and gets them where they want to be, quicker.
